Medina Lake Tours & Other Services
* Tour 1 - $200.00 for 4 people (8-10 minutes)
Fly over the largest concrete Dam in Texas. Completed in 1912 it contains 292,000 cubic feet of concrete. The Medina Dam rises 164 feet above the bed of the Medina River. Flying over the crest of the 1550 foot long Dam is a breathtaking experience. On this tour you will fly from Hangar 13 across Haby's cove, Elm cove and the main channel down to the spill way and dam. Then return, flying over Red's cove and the east side of the lake.
* Tour 2 - $400.00 for 4 people (18-20 minutes)
This tour includes tour 1 and a loop around the Diversion Lake. Classic Hill Country views surround Diversion Dam. Located 4 miles below the Medina Dam, the Diversion Lake covers approximately 400 acres. We will fly the Medina River, pass the dam then around the south side of the Diversion Lake down to the lower dam (where the irrigation canal starts) and circle around Paradise Canyon. Returning back up the Diversion Lake (on the north side) to the dam.
* Tour 3 - $600.00 for 4 people (27-30 minutes)
Starts from Hangar 13 along the east side of the lake going north up to English Crossing. Then fly along the west side of the lake (following the shoreline) down to the spill way and dam. Then down to the Diversion Lake and back to the dam. Spectacular aerial views include : Roxy's Bed and Breakfast, Joe's Marina, Red Cove Marina, Wallys Watersports ski facilities, Walton Island, Bandera Park and Mormon Bluff. Beneath the waters at Mormon Bluff lies the remains of a settlement known as Mountain Valley. Established in 1854 by 16 families, it was abandoned in 1958 due to Indian attacks. When the lake level is low, chimneys of the houses can still be seen.
* Tour 4 - San Antonio Sightseeing $1200 for 4 people ( 55 minutes - 1 hour)
See from above how beautiful San Antonio is. Fly along 46 over Tapatio Springs golf resort to Boerne, then down I-10 over the Dominion Country Club & Six Flags Fiesta Texas, then crossing over Alamo Heights & the San Antonio Zoo. Circle downtown/Riverwalk/Alamo & then pass over Lackland AFB. Continuing over the Southwest Research Institute where you will see thousands of Gorillas on our way to circle Sea World. We'll fly to the farm land of Rio Medina & up the Medina River over Paradise Canyon, Diversion Lake and Medina Lake Dam -returning to Hangar 13.

*Group Rides
$25 per person for 4 minute ride that will take you 1,000’ above the ground to see Downtown San Antonio, Sea World, Medina Lake dam/lake, Tiki Island, Military Mtn., Indian Mtn., Turkey Mtn., Boiling Mtn. & Black Mtn. of Leakey, Bandera, Bandera Pass, Comanche Pass & the steepest hills in the Texas hill country.
(Minimum of 24 people. 3 persons per ride. MAX WEIGHT LIMIT of 3 passengers under 635 lbs. Group rides available out of Hangar 13, BedRock Resort, or your own location)
* Entertain out of town guests
Show them what an awesome area we live in & how much you appreciate them. Buy a half hour ($600) or more & give multiple rides to your guest. Seeing everything from above will give them a better sense of the area & an understanding of where everything is. Time is very valuable. Vacations are short. Take a high speed tour by air & get a better feeling for everything in a short amount of time. Send them home with a memory they’ll never forget!

See from above how beautiful the San Antonio River is. Fly around downtown & along the San Antonio River to see the San Antonio Missions (The Alamo, Mission San Jose, Mission Concepcion, Mission San Juan and Mission Espada) & out into the Texas hill country. Most people don’t know there are hills in Texas. The hill country starts on the northern edge of San Antonio & extends all the way up into Oklahoma. The most beautiful part is a stretch of hill country from I-10 north of San Antonio up to Kerrville & extending 100 miles west over to Leakey, Texas. There is no set route. You can choose the direction you want to go & the areas you would like to see.
Leakey is an area of natural beauty with spectacular hill country views. Sometimes referred to as "The Swiss Alps of Texas", area elevations range from 1,500 to 2,400 feet with deep canyons cut by the Frio and Nueces Rivers. The Frio River offers anything from whitewater rapids, to flats, to swimming holes and great fishing. Let us take you on a picturesque flight through the best part of the Hill Country.
